Grill Art Cafe is Baltimore's best kept secret; who knew that a sleek contemporary bistro is right on 'the Avenue', Hon. Owners Rick Roberts and Melton Lentz have been delivering their own version of culinary delights for the past six years in this American Bistro.

Rick and Melton brought their culinary skills to Hampden the landed in a narrow row house on 36th street. Their vision of combing yummy grilled food with rocking local art came alive in their Grill Art Cafe.
They even created an actual storefront that won an award with Maryland's Historical Society in keeping in the period of the building and neighborhood, which is used as their entrance. They created a gallery space to display and sell art by local artist ergo, Grill Art, how fortunate we the patrons and up and coming artists have a venue to come together.

A new chef has arrived on the scene, Daniel Kindrock who came to Grill Art Cafe bringing no boundaries to his cooking style. He likes an ever-changing menu fusing cultures not only in spices but ingredients.
We are in for a treat, Rick will be free to bake, you have to try his Hot Chocolate Milk Cake with Bittersweet Chocolate icing, there is nothing like it. With appetizers or rather petite bits, that are bit size yet flavorful, you can have a three-course meal and not feel as if you have over indulged.
